In 2003, DEF held our very first event at the much beloved Tenderloft space in San Francisco. Originally intended to be a "fundraiser" for defsf.com,
Paradigm Shift was about as far away from a fundraiser as you can get - we blew tons of money from our minimum wage jobs on the all-vegan
Japanese buffet, coffee and chai bar, free Red Bulls, breakfast of danishes and bagels, high-quality eco friendly flyers, stickers, raver toys, earplugs for all attendees,
plus a totally excessive amount of crazy rave decorations, not to mention a whole box of blacklight-reactive bubbles. It was pretty over the top, but the result
was amazing; a true-school techno family gathering remembered by all in attendance.

Below are audio files from the party, broken down into 11 minute segments. We're not sure exactly where one set ends and the next starts, but we gave it
our best guesses. Enjoy!
