Chel-C Faith is a Bay Area-based producer and live p.a. who makes melodic, groovy, Detroit-influenced techno on an all-hardware setup. Shortly after leaving the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as a teenager, Chelsea got involved in the Bay Area warehouse party scene as a promoter and techno-advocate with DEF. At the urging of friends, she began playing live sets of her own music in 2005. In 2007, along with partner in crime Sean Ocean, Chelsea opened Bliss Factory Studios, an event space in Alameda which is home to DEF's weekly web radio program, Radio Integrated. When she's not producing techno, Chelsea enjoys making people feel uncomfortable with her Italo-disco side project, Easystreet. Today she continues to bring her unique style of melodic techno to dancefloors around the Bay Area as a live performer.
