Mr. James Bass Is sometimes an intensely varied character. James is often found playing the fun outgoing jester and other times going inward to reveal an apparently deeply complex individual with strong emotional ties to his music and art. James started off making and playing House music but slowly moved towards a funky jacking DJ style that often focuses on doubled beats and the roots of techno soul. James currently resides in Berlin investigating the bleeding edge of Techno culture but often returns to San Francisco which he has called home for more than several years.
