Marco Tarantelli, Aka Øbsidian, got his start in Rome and now makes SF his home. A natural talent behind the decks with a clear obsession for hypnotic driving techno and that familiar sound of the needle banging around in the vinyl groove at wicked high volumes. His style is unrelenting but also calculatingly deep, dark, penetrating, and filled with intensity for the true sounds of pure unadulterated underground techno. You might be tempted to call his sound ‘Berlin School,’ and that does give a nod to his influence as a Berlin resident for a good number of years, but with this level of intensity in front of a massive wall of speakers, you might forget where you are (or who you are entirely) for a couple hours.. and that’s ok, you’re in good hands.
